Recently wounded, Special Forces member Alex Shepherd returns to his home town, Shepherd’s Glenn, to find it shrouded in fog and in complete disrepair. His concern deepens when he discovers his mother, alone and in a near catatonic state, and his father MIA after having promised to find his missing, younger brother, Josh. Like his father before him, Alex promises to find Joshua and sets off to explore the vacant streets of Shepherd’s Glenn. His search reveals that only a handful of people remain in the once populous town, and as he digs deeper into the disappearances, he uncovers growing evidence that his town’s current predicament is somehow connected to their mysterious neighbors across the lake; in the misty town of Silent Hill.

Published by Konami in September 2008 the Playstation 3, XBox 360, and PC platforms, Silent Hill: Homecoming is the sixth game in the core Silent Hill series and the second game developed by an outside studio: Foundation 9 Entertainment and Double Helix Games.
